I would like to welcome everyone to our newly created TES Music Page! This will be our TES Music Home for the next while. I will be positing different activities here for students and families to explore as we continue to learn from home. One valuable resource I am excited to share with you is Musicplay, a Canadian award winning music curriculum for elementary schools. There is a student site guide, and tutorial videos on the main page.
Clicking the big orange ONLINE LEARNING button on the main page gives you access to some newly created online learning lessons. Please do not feel you are only allowed to explore your/your child's current grade. They are suggested levels only. Looking at the previous level may work best during this time to reinforce musical skills as I am not there in person to introduce and guide students through lessons. They are also fun! Try it out to see what works best for you. There are videos, songs, worksheets, and colouring activities.
Many wonderful songs are grouped by suggested grade level at the top, and there are various musical games to play off to the right hand side.
Feel free to explore, learn, and have fun as time allows. Let me know if you find a song or activity you really enjoy.
